Ami Small is a recent graduate of Northwestern University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Legal Studies. Her academic interests centered on human behavior and the factors that shape how people think and communicate.

Prior to joining Artemis, Ami gained experience in crisis and strategic communications at Hiltzik Strategies, supporting clients across the corporate, philanthropic, and public sectors. She also has experience in behavioral research at Weill Cornell Medicine’s Program for Anxiety and Traumatic Stress Studies and Northwestern’s Study of Lives Research Group.

Following her time at Northwestern, where she pursued her passion for music as a composer for the university’s drum and dance ensemble, Ami returned to her hometown of New York City.
